I have actually always heard really good things about it, That comment above was the first real negative one I have heard TBH. I am broke as hell so I haven't bought any games since GTA4, but I have been planning on it being my next unless I get MGS first...

I want a fat HD for it TBH, then I can install linux, and download all my independant, non copywrited, public domain films straight to my PS3 instead of my computer.
I got it, foolishly though it had SP too, but it is pretty fun. First time I played it on a standard TV so the graphics weren't that great but they look better on my HD monitor setup. Don't know if it's worth the money tbh.
