i think permanent spawn points give a huge advantage to one side, especially in karkand for the americans and sharqi for the mec. there should be either no spawn points that cannot be captured or permanent ones for both sides, but this is just me.

Maps with permanent spawn points are on purpose. This is not to determine a win or lose situation. This is to show emphasis to the story behind the map. I think by now you have noticed that there is a background to each map and a reason why both forces are there and are fighting. This shows that one force is superior to the other in forms of reinforcements and supply. Hence those areas where there is uncapturable bases shows that that side has more forces at it's disposal and hence has more troops to commit. One side IS at a disadvantage and hence the story line. Think about that and then you understand the reason behind uncapturable bases and flag points.

Read the story lines for every map... then you see why there are permanent spawnpoints.
Karkand, US trying to drive the MEC out of the city, the MEC present need to hold the line, the US just keeps coming. Same with Sharqi. The MEC keep on coming, trying to get the US back into the sea. It would be lame if there was a break out possible as American in Sharqi, because that would mean that there are no MEC forces in a wide area to support their troops. A permanent spawnpoint for the USMC in Sharqi would be lame, coz they cannot be driven back in the sea in anyway.
same with Karkand only the other way around

You'll notice on maps with an uncapturable control point (except fushe pass which has 2 uncaps) the side which does not posess the uncap has all of the othre control points, or at least a majority
