Before I sold COD4 I played solely hardcore. It made it just a bit more realistic (although to be fair, it wasn't exactly 100% realistic in the first place...anything to make that better!)

So I played hardcore the whole day yesterday. Never really did that before, cause I got smoked pretty fast. Thing is, you have to get used to the slower movement in hardcore. But only up to 16 players. Everything above that is just retarded, because it is the first see, first kill thing or even worse, the camp fest.
Played HC sabotage on different servers for a few hours throughout the day and it´s worse than normal. People don´t go after the objectives, they just sit in their tight spot and wait for the one, who has the least patience to pick up the bomb, then toss a grenade or shoot him in the back. TDM is much fun though.
But it´s damn hard to play a normal game afterwards. Encountered 3 guys on normal, hit everyone of them and thought I was rockin` until I got myself killed by all three. Softcore takes more than a bullet to kill, doh.

Edit sorry juggernoob lowers damage to 75%(=.75x105=78.75 damage).

hardcore all the way/. too many noobs running around with juggernoob on softcore. juggernaut in hardcore dont mean much difference.
If you use stopping power, juggernaught means nothing. They practically cancel each other out. All this juggernoob this, that, and whatever is just a cover up for not being able to aim, or not being smart enough to pick stopping power as your tier 2 perk.
I agree with you here they do cancel each other out along with sonic boom. I hate hardcore all it is is luck because all you have to do is hit once and you win. To all you who say it takes more skill not to die Ill agree with you there but it takes allot more skill to kill in softcore. Try running around with a Scorpion on hardcore. Seems to be the one gun that does NOT kill in one hit. Did that yesterday, funny as hell. Even got called a "scorpion noob" for killing someone with it. That´s a Cod4 first.dill13 wrote:

It probably does, but you probably need stopping power. HC or SC, stopping power is the only perk ya need from tier 2. Especially since stopping power makes even pistols, not sure about m9, one shot kills in HC.

Apparently the Uzi needs more shots too. But on hardcore I prefer UAV Jammer and Dead Silence. The gameplay is slower and somewhat more tactical on hardcore, so not being seen or heard is the key. And as father pointed out, especially in s&d.FatherTed wrote:
