Unless if you are applying for a high level job, there is no point in a cover letter. What are you looking into? and what is your age?

Thats silly, a cover letter to work behind a counter ringing up rentals? Come on. In all honesty a cover letter for those is a waste of your time, as its completely pointless. Now a postion with their corporate office or the like would be more understandable, but a cashier/stocker or whatever they call them, silly.Ender2309 wrote:

You'll find that 90% of part-time jobs wont call for a cover letter, as your not applying for an important postion, or a high paid one. However, a cover letter is nothing more then you stating why you want the job, and what qualfies you for the postion(alive, knows basic math, and can perform basic functions should be enough for what your looking at ). I just got hired for a part-time postion yesterday after a year of trying to track down a postion, so good luck with the hunt. If all else fails, fast food will hire you pretty easily, regardless

i did a cover letter for my casual job at target, and for my apprenticeship, but noone asked, i just did it
