My brother is working on a documentary for his boss. AND this stupid animated gif won't load into Final Cut Pro as transparent. The GIF is transparent and shows as transparent in other programs. I heard transparent, animated GIF's don't work in Final Cut Pro. Is this true?

He needs this done by tonight preferable. Here is the file:

Can someone convert it so the transparency will work in Final Cut? I'm kinda at a loss here

How about adding the background color or part of the background image into the GIF file itself?

Thats a good idea! We haven't picked a background color for the frame yet. But, I will try inserting a gradient background like what we would use in the video behind the file now...

Ok, so that worked, I can do a gradient, or do custom patterns as backgrounds. One thing we gotta consider is, his boss is very picky, and will want it to be exactly how he wants it, so we might mess around with background images and text, then I'll have to change the image in the animation also for each frame...

Would still be best if there was SOME way that image can be converted into a Final Cut Pro compatible transparent animation. I KNOW we got Mac experts on here...
