Saiteck Cyborg Mouse?

Looking to get a new gaming mouse, haven't really got a price range so any suggestions welcomed.

Saw this "Saiteck Cyborg" for sale, looks pretty good (specification wise)

But not sure about the build quality.

I am using the Saitek EclipseII keyboard for a long time, so far it is pretty reliable as well as their joystick. I would say their products are good.

Looks too weird for me. But Saitek is a good company, I have the original Eclipse keyboard and it's great.

I would go with a Razer Copperhead or Logitech G5 for the mouse. The Razer if you can get used to the shape and you'd like 3 extra buttons, the Logitech if you're used to using regular shaped mice.

I dunno, people say Saitek is a good company but whenever i picked up their product in a store to test it, it felt cheap. Too much plastic and not enough rubber and quality materials. I'm skeptical when it goes for Saitek.

Hmmm, at the bottom of the page it gives this one:

My Brother has a Razer - Deathadder, the shape is good, but it feels too small. Though he thoroughly recomends it.

On the other hand my Step-Dad uses a G7 which he says is even better than the G5, but I think the G7 is out of production.

Hmmmm, so far I'm shifting towards the Razer, but no idea which one. The Copperhead sounds the best so far, though there are other Razers.

Ok, had a longer look narrowed it down to the

Logitech G5

Now the Logitech has the comfort and reliability (also a 3 year guarantee)
Whereas the Razer has a 1ms response time, I can;t find the response time for the logitech.

Fair enough go for whatever you like best.

The Razor's do look very sexy. I use the G5 because it feels natural to me. Fits perfectly in my hand... I tried a Razor for 10 mins or so, and I just didn't like it. I know a few other people who have done this aswell.

Hmmm, I'm confused. The G5 has a "6.4 megapixels/second image processor". Is that worse than the Razors "1000Hz Ultrapolling™ / 1ms response time"?

Also for the Razer it has "Up to 45 inches per second and 20g of acceleration" what does that mean?

The specifications for them don't match up, also the Razer gives far more specifications than the G5, but I can imagine having better comfort with the G5

You will not notice any difference at all between the two of them. They are both as fast as each other.

Do you know anyone with a Razor to try out?

The G5 is just like any other mouse feel wise. But has some nice grip. Especially the blue second edition you posted. It feels and looks the sex.

Try them both out. If you really like the feel of the Razor get that, if not then go for G5... that's my opinion.

I'd say go with a logitech people seem to love then. People either love or hate copperheads they say they break and shit. I'm a jew so I got a GM3200 from Saitek its alright. You might be a bit disappointed they don't like boost your performance too much but they are nice and comfortable.

Argh! Just bought the G5, then my bro came home and started yelling at me for not getting the Razor: Deathadder. He said it's far better with it's 1ms response. Though I pointed out that in numerous tests the so called "adjustable USB polling" was useless and did not benefit accuracy at all!

So again, a crossroads. G5 or Deathadder?
