wow didnt notice earlier but just undo the splices and make sure everything is connected good.
The switch may need to be adjusted or replaced or maybe just plugged it. good luck.
If a wire isn't from the factory remove it. Look all around inside and out for plugs or anything unplugged and plug it back in.
Some plugs do not have a home as not all features comes on all models of the same vehicle.
If the previous owners or doing that crappy splicing crap there's probably more that one splice or broken plug on the car somewhere, under the hood or under the dash.

I finally got it to run off the ignition cylinder... thanks for the help everyone!
