Why on earth has he got books or DVDs in that room? It messes up the acoustics.
He's a music engineer. I'm somehow fairly sure that if it was an issue, he himself or someone else around him would've known.
I wonder why there are no books and closets in public theaters...
Oh, I don't know.. could it be because people who pay $10 to go see a movie aren't likely to get up and get themselves a book to read for the duration?

Lol wut? The question here is if the books affect acoustics or not and not if someone might feel like reading books during movies.

Ya. Why not put some metal object in that room as well? He might need a refrigerator there since he will get hungry watching movies reading books.

I'm guessing when you have that many frigging speakers all pointing towards the center of the room, the acoustics of the room don't matter much. They don't even matter much anyway, unless you're recording a sound.

WTF.

Reminds me of when my dad bought a surround sound system at Best Buy, and the guy tried to sell us this "power conditioner"... it supposedly one-ups your usual surge protector because it somehow "conditions" the electricity.

Don't you want pure and unadulterated electricity for your system??

$6.000.000 is ludacris ... the brands are amongst the best you can get but 30 units of McIntosh MC-2102 Amplifiers and 16 subs clearly shows he either has way to much money or doesn't know jack shit about home teathers ...

Exessive to the point where it just looks like idiocy ...

It might be cool if he had all of that in a larger room with many couches and seats and the like, but there it just looks like clutter.

Agreed. And the books do seem stupid, it's not like he can even get to them behind all his shit. And covering the floor with the stuff is pointless as well, how are you supposed to watch porn whilst drunk? And he needs more couches. Unless he has no friends, which frankly, would make sense.

Wow, for $6M you probably could have built a stage, hired actors, and a director and had a live theatre instead.

does anyone actually think that spending 6 mil on a theater system will increase your enjoyment that much?

don't get me wrong i like nice big expensive things, but this is excesive. almost sick.
So then sell your computer, go buy the minimum needed specs to run games, and give the rest of the money to africans.

Oh wait, you won't.

GTFO moral troll.

i didn't say money should be only spent to a minimum and everything else given away. i just thought that a 6 MILLION DOLLAR theater was fucked up. there is a difference between buying elaborate and buying excesive unnecessary nonsense. this is excesive.

if you can't handle a moral opinion that will most likely pop up on a FORUM from time to time either get off or ignore it and stop being a pussy.

Oh wait, you won't...
Oh, I can handle it. I just think you're a dolt and a total troll.

What about people with private jets, huh? I don't see you going off on them. Or actually, what's your car like? Probably excessive too. Go sell it and send the money to Africa.

Oh wait, you won't..

Because you're a troll and have nothing better to do. Go outside and play little boy.

Edit: I love how a mod deleted the picture too. I wouldn't have gone off on you if it weren't for that picture...looks like the mods agreed with me.

Those little things on the ground look retarded. And the couch is way too small, fit maybe 4 people on there if they dont spread out
