because i'm so used to the xx00 GX2/GTX/GTS/GT/GS config that anything else is just...not nVidia to me. plus you wouldn't know it's a 9-series card.Bell wrote:

you do. the 9900 is GT200 = 2x0 series. The 9900GT is probably GeForce GT 240. The next generation cards wil be 3x0 series. The old GTS/GT/GTX/Ultra 8800/9800 naming was dumb because there were totally different cards with pretty much the same name.haffeysucks wrote:
