Damn fine post. The new AA will certainly separate the men from the boys. A real professional will always adapt. Now we'll see which co-called air aces are the real McCoy.
funny how none of those who were hardcore bitching about the patch haven't posted a thing on here in response.
yeah i love the new patch, not only does the AA own but the missiles on the jets own TOO and im a great pilot, got like 50 points on a map which's name i cannot remember by shooting down planes and owning AA sites on the coast with guns, GG all and watch out im out to get you

Word. I fly more now than I ever did before. Dogfighting takes some serious skill--if you try to engage in merely a turning battle and you're at the disadvantage, you're dead.
i agree with the first post but the only thing that sucks is the dogfighting that used to be a challenge now its only rockets no more MG's ahh those where the good days...
Playing Mashtur City from the MEC side sometimes as soon as you lifted off you could ear the lock tone from the AA. This was rediculous. I actualy tried it from the other side and it was so easy. You just aimed at the UNCAP MEC flag and waited. As soon as the chopper would lift off you had the tone! Forget about that now.
Anyone aver played Janes A/F18? The AA was killer and jets much harder to fly. In BF2 you realy have it easy LOL.

If you want to talk about harder to fly, try a real mans sim, something like LOMAC or F-16 MRF. When the technical manual on how to fly the jet, let alone fight with it, is as thick as a good novel, you have a good sim. That and BF2 only has short range heaters; imagine of they had AMRAAMs and AMRAAMskis. Or worse off, med-hi altitude radar guided SAMS.
Although, adding in a SEAD aircraft would be so roxxors in BF2....

Nice post man. I agree that the patch was a good one. Looking forward in hitting you head on in the game with AA.
Jets still dominate. I just got a 44-0 round today on wake. I don't always get 0 or 1 death but I usually get at least a 10-1 KD ratio at minimum. I just hate the jet air to air missles.
