I just moved and will not have internet for a few months
(i am at work right now)

is there a way to play BF2 in single player offline?

i do not want to lose my aiming skills while i am offline

from what menu?

i do not see that option

all i see is the login screen and it fails because I am offline

Create a new account and there is an option for 'offline'.

so at the log in screen i choose create a new account?

and then from there choose offline mode?

While you're at it, maybe you should download some mods. Allied Intent Extended and Point of Existence 2 have pretty good SP maps, and the new features should keep you entertained.
