Anyone know of some free music downloaders? I'm tried of Limewire. Every time I search for a lesser-known band, nothing comes up.
Bad juju's chief. Thought shalt not speak of p2p programs on BF2s.com
Not that I'll be downloading anything illegal...
Frostwire is the shit. But look out when you're searching for videos; at least half of them are porn.
k...you realize the problem is not limewire, but the network limewire taps?
yeah, all of those music downloaders function off of gnutella. its the problem, not your downloader.
rapidshare and bittorrent are really your only other options.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
The problem is not specific to any particular network or downloader - the problem is with the way p2p works - if no-one's sharing it, you ain't gonna find it.Ender2309 wrote:

They don't have some big central vault with everything you want...Scorpion0x17 wrote:

...If that was the case, there would be no piracy.
If the band you want is lesser known, it seems logical they will be hard to find.
Hence, if you're that desperate, just buy it.

If you are looking for something you want really bad, then you should consider supporting the band/artist. http://www.itunes.com
There's always bit torrents ftw.

Go buy the album for the band? I am pretty sure you can find their website and they sell their albums direct from there (or Amazon).
ShareAza. Uses Gnutella 1 & 2 and Ed2k

Just like if you were to purchase it from Wal-Mart, you would be supporting Wal-Mart. However, a percentage does go to the artist. Same thing with Apple iTunes. You are not just supporting the retail outlet. Comon'.zeidmaan wrote:

I'd rather get a CD from Wallmart than a song off iTunes. DRM FTL.duk0r wrote:
