The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Variety Map Pack for PS3 will be available on the PlayStation Network on Thursday, April 24th for both North America and Europe!

Additionally, there will be a PS3 Variety Map Pack Double XP Weekend Extravaganza! Enjoy Double XP all weekend for both continents from 12:01 AM GMT on Friday, April 25th to 11:59 PM PDT on Sunday, April 27th. We are also making Friday, April 25th a "Play with the Devs" day. The Infinity Ward team will be playing online on Friday, April 25th from 11AM to 2PM PDT and from 5 PM to 8 PM PDT.

Is anyone having problems with sound on the new maps and the game crashing after a match is over?

I was naive to expect these new maps to go over without a few teething problems.

Creek is fucking awesome by the way, I just made my debut with a 38 kill vs 8 Death round. G3 kicks ass on that map.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

Double XP??? Seriously who isn't at level 55 by now?? ...oh wait, you consoles and your fancy "prestige" mode. Heh, guess I could say I've got a level of prestige considering I recently got a second character up to 55... then realized what a big waste of time it was

well im ranked about 11,000. by the end of this weekend i want to be in the top 8000. fingers crossed.
