In this apparent tape Al-Qaeda's deputy leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri talks of the "special relationship" between Iran and Al Qaeda and how they are funded by them. Why didn't i believe the U.S officials or media that Iran has links with Al Qaeda???

So you're joking, right? Did you read the article you're linking? Or are you playing up a "Cheney-esque" notion that because Al Quaeda and Iran are mentioned in the same bbc news article, they must be cooperating together?

yes i am joking, Al qaeda don't like Iran as they are shia and Al qaeda are Sunni, but the U.S propaganda media and officials have lied and said that Iran have links to Al Qaeda

also the U.S media also have said Al Qaeda is based in Iran which is false. When will the yanks learn

It's known that Iran dislike AQ/Taliban as much as everyone else. However, they do have links to Hezbollah and Terrorists in that region.

My 2 pence:

Iran wouldn't be an enemy if:

- We didn't put the Shah in power
- We left Israel alone (as in, to fend for themselves)
- We didn't supply then invade Iraq

We created the Iran that is today.

Although, my advice to Iran is:

You Persians have hated Arabs throughout your pre-Islamic history, you still do. So why are you following their religion, why did you drop your culture, your writing system and adopt the Arabic-style script! Where was the Insurgency when the Arabs took over your homeland. To pertain to the subject, Mek-Stizzle is right. The Iranian problem is the result of American intervention into Middle Eastern politics. Personally, I think America should leave the Middle East alone, which would neutralize much of the potency of Iranian hatred towards the US (assuming we stop supporting Israel like it's our God-given duty).

Also rammunition, could you post a few links that show how the American media believes Al Qaeda and Iran have any association? I would like to see these because I have never seen such articles, excluding Fox News (which is dominantly unreflective of America as a whole) and other minor news outlets.
