I'm going crazy i can't install the patches 1.4 or 1.5 for call of duty 4 and every time i do it says that they are already installed and asks me if i want to uninstall them then install the patch but i get this every time
uninstall, reinstall, install patch. make sure you back up your mp files.

hmm, for some reason it looks like the temp directory location where the file is being extracted to is getting deleted before it has a chance to run. very weird... (just for shits and giggles, disable your norton before you try the install.)
If all else fails: Uninstall. Click Start button, Click Run, Type Regedit, Hit Ok. Search for CALL OF DUTY, delete all entries. Search for ACTIVISION if that is the only ACTIVISION game you own. delete entries. reinstall. try again.
