Will a mod/admin take over or allow someone else to carry this great idea on?

Even if an admin/mod took over, they'd still need the map Master still has at Google maps. I don't think you can add yourself, only the author can. Unless a brand new map is created, and Google may not have the ability to copy a map, it'll be a bit of a chore.

If it is possible, however, maybe we could make a generic google account for BF2s On a World Map, the password issued to responsible individuals that could update it. With more than one person with access, one could go on vacation and the map could still be worked on by another member with the pw.

Great Idea but when it comes to volunteering, I'll keep my hand down I'm afraid, you'd all end up from Timbuktoo if I was to try and sort it.
