Wait, you can't be serious can you?

I mean that was the most retarded thing I've ever seen.  It doesn't make any sense.  It's, it's...I mean I can't describe how bad/wrong that is, the words just aren't in the english language.

Please, for the love of God, tell me this is a joke and someone isn't actually thinking of releasing that on the big screen.

No idea who Uwe Boll was before I googled him. Never watched any of his movies either.

But again, no one forces you to see any of his works, and if the video game industry is such a sell-out that they'd let someone with his "reputation" make movies based on their games, it's their fault, and not his.

Whatever anyone might think about the quality of his work, at least he is pursuing his dream, making movies. Can you say the same about yourself ?

its not the games selling to him, its the studies buying the rights of the games then they green light him and give him money to make these terrible movies

we can only hope 1 day he realizes he has failed miserably and whimper off to a closet to never come out

Everything up until the passengers (as it was making fun of United 93, obviously) broke in was funny. If they had just ended it with "We're going to the Bahamas", I would have been fine with it. Then there was just absolutely no purpose to the scene with the towers. None whatsoever, except to rile people up.

Fuck that.

Or you know, people with atleast some sort of moral decency. Sorry, I guess I must be a dumbshit for finding a movie that thinks United 93 and United 175 was funny pretty damn appalling.

No, i just tend to realize a movie is FICTION, and leave it at that.  Maybe i dont have moral decency, but if it's that or be swallowed up by the political correctness shitstorm that has made people like you so naive, so be it.

Erm, how is that fiction? Hey, guess what? On one day in September a few years back, 4 planes were hijacked! And OMG, 2 of them were crashed into buildings!!!! And the passengers took down the hijackers on one!!! Did you know about that??!??

Ok, so if a movie making fun of the Holocaust is released even if some of the events in the camps were changed to be funny, you'll go see it and laugh? Wow. You're a fucked up kid.

And do you even know what the term naive means? I'm guessing not. Lemme guess...14 years old? Or am I being too generous? I'm not trying to be politically correct - I'm extremely against political correctness infact. But not wanting to see a movie because it makes fun of 9/11 makes me naive? You're one uneducated kid.

You prove my claim of naivety once again.  "How is that fiction?" Do i need to spell it out for you? The m-o-v-i-e is fiction.  The events may be true, but the movie is fiction.

Hey, you never know.  Everyones taste is different; i know some people that got laughs out of Freddy got Fingered if you believe that.  But why is it your god given right to determine the definition of "fucked up"

Refer to the first sentence of the first response.  Once again you fail to understand my posts, and in some pitiful attempt to hide the mistake you fill in the blanks with what first comes to mind.  Tsk tsk.

And in case there is still some doubt in my understanding of definitions, naive is used to describe a person who is unaware of or is misinterpreting what they read/see/hear, etc.

"Lacking worldly experience and understanding"

Yeah, you don't know the definition. Maybe next year when you're in the 9th grade we can talk.

And it's my God given right to determine it because I'm allowed to have an OPINION. Sorry if you don't like that, Mein Fuhrer.

How exactly am I unaware of everything? I know the movie is fiction...no fucking shit. But it's making fun of events that ACTUALLY FUCKING HAPPENED. That makes me naive?

Ignorance is bliss. So easy to think/want to think something's "funny" when you're not affected by what they're making fun of. And they're not making fun of a small thing. They're making fun of the largest attack on American Soil in the US's history. Right after the Bahamas statement was where the funny stuff ended. There, it was making fun of the hijackers and why they did it. That's fine, as it obviously doesn't make fun of the victims. I've seen many comedians do that and they get laughs...but if they were to involve the victims into the story, there'd be an uproar. And rightfully so. Sorry, the world isn't as sadistic and brutal as you. If you really find something making fun of 9/11's victims or using 9/11's victims for laughs funny, I suggest a therapist.

The only naive person is you, thinking it's okay to make fun of a large scale attack when there are hundreds of thousands of people who were affected by it, including myself. And it's not like this happened 100 years ago. It happened a little over 6 1/2 years ago.

^^^ converstion made me laugh ^^^
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Yeah, there are many definitions for naive, you just happened to pick one that i didnt use.  And unlike some people, i prefer to use my own words, not some copypasta.  If its really that difficult for you to realize i meant the same thing with my words, or i cant be allowed to be right at anything, then maybe it is you who should get in the 9th grade.

Yes, you are entitled to your own opinion, any you could have left it at that.  Actually, i apologize, i should have not let what you said affect me.

But here is where your logic is flawed.  So it's easy to think its funny when youre not affected?  By your logic, comedians/directors/TV channels  would not be able to do anything besides knock-knock jokes, because someone would have been affected negatively and your logic dictates that is wrong.  Now before you start saying most issues are not big deals, for some they ARE a big deal.  What you find offensive is not universal. The french have a saying that translates to "leave alone," and it applies to more than a country's economy.  If you cant stand something, why not ignore it like most people would?  Let those who you deemed so sadistic and brutal enjoy what gives them kicks, but dont you dare start ordering them around as if you are all-powerful.  Now go back to worshipping mein fuhrer as you obviously appreciate a society where everyone is the same and the world is devoid of flaws.
