He has a point when he says that the U.S treats the UK like its bitch. I'm sick of that too. If there's one thing I like about Mainland Euro countries is that they're more independent and aren't the USA's or anyones bitch. I find it funny how we always talk about how Superior we are and how we won't let the EU control everything we do, yet on the other hand the U.S basically tells us what to do for everything.

- Should Britain Attack America
So either A) We become a Dominion again, or B) You become the 51st state.
are you aware that there are thousand of m4 and m16 rifles avaliable for purchase on the global arms market?
are you aware that the bodies of some soldiers are stripped of their gear before backup can arrive?
It is very possible for american built weapons to end up in the hands of insurgents.
although...
that flag would look much better with 51 stars

Ah, rofl ... that should go over well ...S.Lythberg wrote:

It's called intent. If the American government was intentionally supplying bullets for the purpose of killing Brit's then maybe.rammunition wrote:
how is this a stupid question???
the point is bullets made in america have been killing our soldiers
America wants to bomb Iran because apparently Iranian made bombs are killing their troops.
it could be that the bullets have gone in the wrong hands and same could be said about the apparent Iranian bombs

The Iranians could argue there was no intent on their behalf either though, couldn't they? No Americans would believe them but they still could.Kmarion wrote:

But they Iranians ARE indeed supplying the insurgents.Braddock wrote:

Do you believe them? The evidence is not limited to just finding their weapons in the hands of insurgents.Braddock wrote:

I personally believe that what the Iranians are doing in Iraq is exactly what the Americans are doing there...interfering where they don't belong in order to further their own interests. I don't think the Americans should be interfering there and I don't think the Iranians should be interfering there.Kmarion wrote:

If Saudi weapons were found in Iraq (and who knows, maybe the American bullets in question were some of those sold to Saudi Arabia?) do you think McCain would be using it as an excuse to bomb Saudi Arabia any time soon? I just think there's a growing campaign to invade Iran and all these things help put momentum behind that campaign...it was the same with Iraq.
This is so stupid it isn't even funny. We have a global economy, so it is very possible that the ammunition was made by a US manufacturer. Don't forget, US weapons have been sold to other countries, and some picked up off injured/killed soldiers in combat areas. And last, but not least, the US military M16 rifle uses a standard NATO 5.56 round, which is why the ammo may have come from a US manufacturer, but has nothing to do with who is shooting them.
That is a reasonable reply. But it also acknowledges that you believe they are supplying insurgents. Remember this was a question of intent.Braddock wrote:

We'd be wise to keep an eye on the Saudi's. Although they have had massive raids in an attempt to clean up their terrorist issues. Everything America has done regarding Iran has been inclusive with the rest of the world. Even the Chinese and Russians have been critical of Iran as of late. Are the planning an attack as well?wrote:

This guy redefines the word naïveté
The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

This has to be the stupidest thread in DST history.
Actually the USA didn't exist back then. A bunch of British colonists fought the British royalists, the US came into existance afterwards. We kicked our own ass.Poseidon wrote:

It's like some people beleived Iraq had WMD's because the US supposedly sold them to Saddam. It was kind of a blessing none were found, with US serial codes on them.

I say Britain is going to continue and be a happy puppy and ignore what we didrammunition wrote:
read this story
[url]http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wear/7338955.stm[url]its says this
A teenager killed serving in Iraq was one of six soldiers shot by the same gun over a period of several months, an inquest has heard.
Ann Kiernan, of LGC Forensics, speaking at the inquest in Spennymoor, County Durham, said: "There had been six incidents from March to June where projectiles have all been discharged from the same rifle."
She added that the bullets were manufactured in AMERICA by Lake City Arsenal, an arms manufacturer.
so American made bullets are killing our soldiers then.
America is complaining that Iranian made bombs are killing their troops and John McCain said he wants to bomb Iran for it.
So when is Britain going to pressure the yanks or going to continue being the puppy and stand up to nothing?
I would like to see pressure from the world about the issue of poor dry comedy to Britain.rammunition wrote:
