You got it Spearhead...the M-21 is nothing more than the accurized version of the M-14...and only one of the snipers was using an M-21 the other had a M-16/M-4...still it was an accurized one but it was not the M-14...when I first saw it I flipped out because it's really rare to see that gun in movies anymore...hell ya don't see it anywhere in the old Vietnam movies when it was a service rifle...at any rate it's in my opinion the finest rifle ever made...Spearhead wrote:

A Springfield Armory M-21...although they already had one in Battlefield Vietnam the Marines are still using it today...I own the M1A version and it's sweet...great accuracy...I can compete with high accuracy bolt actions...oh well a man can dream...a man can dream...
Whoever said the M240 was on the tank is terribly wrong. In BF2 the Abrams have M2 .50 BMG.

How about the Mk. 19 grenade launcher? The Desert Combat Mod for BF1942 had one on the FAV. The US has the Mk 19 in wide service, and the Soviets/Russians have a widely used 30mm grenade launcher.
BF2 could put them on Hummers, DPVs, FAVs, Vodniks, NJ 2046s, or even as static ground defence weapons. While they couldn't harm tanks or APCs, they could take on light vehicles or infantry.
Come to think of it, the M249/RPK/Type 95 mounted guns are of limited usefulness. Why not upgrade them to 7.62mm or even .50?

The L96 is the (very slight) bigger brother to the AWP. It's essentially the same thing, just slightly more powerful.
I'd like a Barrett XM109 25mm semi-auto sniper rifle... Imagine getting hit with that.
