DICE, stop changing game mechanics.  The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and it seems like the demise of this wonderful game is as well.  Catering to the moaners and complainers, the people who should work on increasing their ability to play the game rather than displace fault onto external forces, is a sure way to deconstruct an otherwise amazing opus artis.

Your post is rather silly though, I wouldn't attribute that to anything other than a very lucky round or that you are an exceptional player. Although the PKM is certainly better than before, it isn't going to magically make people better at aiming or make them more intelligent gamers. I have gotten many short, single burst kills at long range with other weapons as well, not just the PKM. The changes to support weapons served the breathe new life into an otherwise underpowered kit. I am happy with all the 1.2 changes for the most part, just not all the fucking bugs that they forgot to fix.

Honestly i dont see the change that much in game play the good players got better and the less skilled got a bit better so you still have the same mechanics of the SKilled owning the unskilled just means along the way the unskilled will kill more and the skilled will die a little more and the ones who claimed to be skilled but get owned by a someone who cant play that well just shows which group they really belong to so why dont all the unskilled people stop whinging and do like me GET OVER THE PATCH AND SHUT UP WITH THE WHINGING

Um. I never used PKM until 1.2 because I enjoy actually hitting people.  Suddenly a support gun is outsniping an assault rifle in single shot?  I didn't believe it until I tried it (and got killed by it more than any other gun).  It's too accurate on the first shot. How can you possible aim a .50 cal from 200m and hit them?

It's true. The PKM is uber as hell right now. I've been playing almost exclusively as of late with it, too. It's simply too accurate. Like, more accurate than the assault rifles.

The problem isn't with the support guns, it's with the PKM. right now, the PKM is just miles above the other support guns; it's capable of performing at long ranges like a dragunov rifle and, well, we know how it is at shorter ranges.

Problem isnt PKM being too uber, problem is people still acting as it's still same inaccurate popgun it used to be. When people see support guy covering some place w/ MG, they just try to take it out 1vs1 wich worked nice on 1.12.

BUT now its 1.2 time!! If you see support guy covering some place, toss few nades to his position, ask sniper to take him out, smoke/flash him, ask for covering fire from friendly support guy etc. etc.

You just cant now rush in, but you actually need to think about what you are doing, and if people would understand meaning of 'TEAMPLAY' there would not be problems w/ mg's/snipers/AA's/etc.

And to Belcorwyns scores, in warlord support have always been good class, lots of close encounters and inroom battles. I usually hitted ~100 round score prepatch without trying too hard.

Not a bad score with the PKM, but the K/D ratio is unimpressive.  I have also recently started using the PKM and have rounds of 36 - 4, 21 - 1 etc. (scores not high, but also not on a 64 player server that is nearly empty)

But I also found the PKM very capable before the patch so don't think that they needed to make it as deadly.
I heard people whinge about it before the patch, but that was just due to their lack of skill.

PKM was very powerful even in prepatch, it just didnt hit a shit if it wasnt right in your face.

the first 3 unlocks for me were G36, M95 and PKM.........i found i wasnt very good with the sniper (didnt have the patience to wait around and lacked  skill) PKM well after many years playing DOD using MG42, 34, Bren and 30 cal i figured these new guns should out peform the WW2 MG's...nope totally crap...tried every thing prone...short bursts altering aim etc....couldnt hit a laim elephant, in fact i could out shoot the PKM with the G36 stood up!!...i have both unlocked MG's and tested the lot in prone mode scoped, the firing pattern was ludicrously inaccurate...in fact in game i shot a guy within 10 feet crouched but unscoped and hit him once...he then killed me....i have tried hard to master the PKM etc not wanting to give up.....even before this new patch i occasionally outsniped a sniper..but to fire close range at a group it was just awfully inaccurate...now its better more like an MG should be....as said above those that were good before will be doubly so now...now a question is the PKM an LMG or an MG.....if its the MG then maybe patch it so you have to prone before being able to use it, maybe add a limited range of movement just like a fixed MG.......Ettercrab says it!!!! it just didnt hit a shit unless it was right in your face!!!!

I thought the PKM was pretty accurate before the patch.  I killed many a sniper off the big hill on Karkand from that back alley.  But, I also think the accuracy update was realistic.  I heard several posts from people who have fired the real thing, and they said that they are every bit as acurate as an assault rifle if not more.  Think about it; it is a BIG, heavy gun, with a long barrel, recoil suppression, and a tripod.  It's going to be pretty acurate (especially the first few shots). 
Does anyone know, have the weapon comparison stats on wiki been updated?

PKM: Deviation Standing / Crouching / Prone3/1.2/0.8, Deviation Added per Shot: 0.1 (2.5)

L96A1: Deviation Standing / Crouching / Prone2/1.5/0.8, Deviation Added per Shot5 (3.5)

Yes vega_4speed, as you can see now they have turned the PKM into a fully automatic Sniper Rifle now.

Read fire small bursts and you will not, cannot miss!

yeah that pkm is starting to become a sniper rifle on steroids.

I do like the patch but i have to adjust my game play to it instead of 14 year old crybabies wishing it was 1.12 where they could bunny hop.

To all you idiots who bunny hop, spawn kill, hack, base rape, stat paddd and more.. you are about to get your ass handed to you by a "professional"

Even with this new patch with all the bugs and imbalance issues, i am still getting better than the average player and i have earned 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in the last two days. SO all you pussies that cry about the patch i have one thing to say to you ..........STFU and play. Start being smart about your game play and stop running around karland, ghost town and other streeet type maps like a chicken with its head cut off.

most whinners have insane kill to death ratios because they know what to exploit in the game ( ex :bunny hop , spawn kill, and so on) now they are crying like babbies because they go from 50/1 k/d ratios to 1/5. that means u die way more than you get killed in a round. why.. because the game is starting to get more realistic.


What will make me happy is a sniper making one shot kills 100% of the time regardless where the bullet hits ( head, legs, chest, arm ) Boy that will be a sight to see dont you think.

Support guns are supposed to outshoot assault rifles. Thats the whole fucking point of them. When a support gunner is setup somewhere, he keeps heads down because if the enemy don't hide..... they get their fucking heads blown off.

This simply wasn't happening before the patch. If you looked at the highest scoring players with different kits, the highest score with the carbines was double that of the machineguns. They were seriously underpowered before. They're fine now. STOP WHINING!!
