I recently got a digital tuner and now im getting obscure channels. Obscure like 7-1, 11-2, 106-5. At first i figured i was just getting channels that should be encrypted considering i have basic cable up to channel 72 on cox cable here in southern california. But i noticed that the channels in the 106 range only showed pay per view/on demand content, ie recent movies like 3:10 to yuma. And every now and then the movie would pause and other times jump around like theyre being rewound or fastforwarded. I was flipping through the 106 channels and some soft core porn was on in the middle of a sexy time scene.

Heres where i figure im essentially watching what other people are watching, the porn only shows the sex scenes. When the sex is over, whoever is watching it fastforwards all the in between time where people are wearing clothes, the dude must be impatient. Im actually watching the porn movie fastforward and i have no control. I was watching it being fastforwarded and i notice the clothes are coming off so i guess this guys going to press play here, and he did. That sealed it.

So anyone know how this is possible? I figure im watching what other people are ordering and it must only be the houses on my street, but still what the hell, i dont think these incidents were intended by the cable company (who by the way have no idea).

This happens to me on Comcast as well. I was watching some hardcore at like 3 P.M. though, lmao. I saw 3:10 Yuma on like Tuesday night on one of those channels actually.

happens to me too man

here at home with my Sony Grand Wega, i pick up free movies in the 75.1-75.11 range, mostly pay per view movies, and porn. Its funny watching it though, because it fastforwards through the slow parts of the porn and stops when it gets to the actual fucking (hardcore cock to vagina fucking). During good scenes it will stop and fucking rewind.... I almost dont want to get the digital box now for fear i might lose my "free" channels. Well, cable is typically installed to be a physically shared medium, which is why you normally encrypt stuff. Apparently these guys don't. Usually you have the entire spectrum of the local cable segment available to you, so whatever unencrypted stuff your neighbours are watching, you can grab and watch yourself. This doesn't just happen with TV, either. If your provider has a setup that allows for it, and you have the right equipment, you can listen in on their VoIP and see what they're doing on the Internet. Hooray for cable!
