Well, you also settle with 10fps too...Freezer7Pro wrote:
8ms+? Anything under 20 will work for gaming, really. I've played BF2 on a 30ms monitor from 1999, and it wasn't that horrible, really. Looks a bit like motion blurCrazeD wrote:
Uh... ping has absolutely nothing to do with monitor response time...The Sheriff wrote:
Due to the fact that your ping will 99 times out of 100 be over 5ms I doubt that low response time is going to affect anything.
A slow response time can sometimes lead to ghosting, where previous images are "left behind" because it doesn't refresh quick enough. 5ms won't be a problem, but something like 8+ wouldn't be that good for gaming. But if its of awesome quality then sometimes that rule is lax.
Anywho, 5ms won't effect anything except e-pen.
Dell's been making stuff similar to this for years - it's only now that they've actually become powerful ,)

I was wondering when a company like DELL would do this. I'm sure quite a few will buy! Looks great, but I still think the iMac looks better. Shame that it is only 20", when a lot of people's monitors are now 22" and 24".
Clarification: this is a fancy, schmancy show-off word processing rig,.

Should've used a CRT.

I believe it's an integrated. Check Dell's site.Mek-Izzle wrote:
They haven't even mentioned what video card it has. It's clearly not for gaming, even if it is branded as XPS. Besides, are you joking man. 5ms is crap?unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Looks nice enough for general internetting/WP etc, but yes, it clearly isn't a gaming machine.
