I voted no; I'm not completely bored of it, but I am a little. I've recently got back into playing BF2, so that's where most of my time goes. I also finally got around to playing Crysis some more (had it since last winter but never played it). But when I'm bored of any of the games I'm playing currently, I'll do CoD4 for a little bit, still very fun!

Tiny map design + Expedited ranking system + Weak perk system = Poor legacy gameplay value.
I guess IW thought customizable weapon camo skins were enough to keep you engaged and going after those last challenges...

Obviously it's going to get boring if you sit and play CoD exclusively in sittings of 3-4 hours. Mix it up a little. And to answer your question, no. It is not getting boring at all.

I uninstalled COD4. Awsome single player but the MP, the reason I bought the game is just pure rubbish. I never walked away from a game saying to myself " that was fun ". I actually never even got satisfaction from getting the highest score on a 28 payer game lets say. Because half my kills were from the chopper and airstrikes. MP is dead to me. Never bothering to play it again.

Its not boring by any means, but I dont play it nearly as much as I used to!
I would love to play the new maps that are coming out, but they arent releasing them on PC. . . . yet. I might go back to BF2 and rip it up a bit

I played it for 30+ hours according to XFire. I guess that's how long it took for me to get bored of it.

i still like CoD4, stopped playing a little while ago and started playing tf2 alot, and after getting bored of people killing me with crit rockets, i started going soldier, started killing everything that lived and became what i hated so i stopped (also the game its self pissed me off so much, as well as its fanboy playerbase), back to CoD4 and im enjoying it, it isnt any more boring than any other game thats out there (apart from BF2, but i played that for a thousand hours, if i could be fucked playing vehicle servers i could probs play it a little longer, but thats similar to the TF2 situation....)

I was all like, I'm sick of CoD4! So I played BF2, got killed by a bunnyhopping G36e medic, and went back to CoD4.
The thing that is lengthening the lifespan of CoD4 for me is basically just the community. Playing with the same bunch of friends and clans on the same regular haunts (whether they are our own clan servers or not)... just makes the game more fun than it is playing solo and against strangers. Also, sticking to the Regular Search & Destroy theme at least keeps it in line with the old nostalgia of Call of Duty 1 / Call of Duty 2- which I'm sure is the only reason I've stuck by the game and played it through .
My best advice if you're bored: Try a different gametype (I don't mean play 2 rounds of Sabotage, I mean really get into a new gametype... competitively even) and try and find an active clan. You'd be surprised how much a bit of coordination and a night on TeamSpeak improves the quality and fun of a game. Leagues and ladders are keeping CoD4 afloat for me!

I think that the challenges/skins for the game is keepin me even more interested, ps can i get the skins on the guns to look cool without getting lag! I run game on all low.

Nope mainly because somehow my PC screwed over my profile folder, making me lvl 35 again so I can get my ranks all over again
