Feeling in my area about multi-cultural and multi-racial society is quite strong. It is an extremely cosmopolitan area, the road I live on has. I grew up during an era when people here were fighting for multi-cultural society against NF bigots.
You might want to read up on the Battle of Lewisham to get an idea of how I feel about this sort of thing. It reflects the climate of the normal people living here standing up for their belief in a multi-cultural and multi-racial society, not as a distant and far off ideal, but directly in the community we live in.
Are you really so closed minded you want to live around people who are just like you and refuse to embrace the wildly varied different cultures the world has to offer?
In my neighbourhood people of all cultures live together in peace. If anyone doesn't like it like that round here, they can fuck off.

of course most people on this forum will have similar people around them. mostly. but that has more to do with the fact that if ur anglo-christian (or just anglo) you are the majority... so obviously most people around you will be anglo. also alot of cultures that have migrated tend to stay together in certain areas of a country/city.... but i can tell you that i have plenty of different people from different cultures (sudan, nigeria, iraq, china, aboriginal, heaps of european countries) around me and i do not judge them at all by their religion or culture.... i judge them people by how they act to me and others.... so if i saw a muslim attack someone i would report it... i wouldnt ask for their whole religion to be deported from my country... it would be exactly the same if i saw a white person or black person or ANY culture or religion....lowing wrote:

If you have read my posts over past 1.5 years you will not find any inconsistencies in them. I feel the way I feel. My opinions are not based on skin color or heritage. My opinions are based on social issues and I feel socially, Islam is about 500 years in the past from the rest of us. That is why I feel the way I do about it. If you disagree with it, you are more than welcome to, but to be asked a question and then answer it honestly only to be called everything from bigot to fuckin' Hitler is unacceptable.

In the neighbourhood I live in we have families from all parts of the world. We have a muslim family living just two doors away, and they're just one of the muslim families near us. We have chinese. And Americans. And Italians. And Polish. And people from JUST ABOUT EVERY BLOODY COUNTRY UNDER THE SUN.
