BF2S Forums Why don't the Mexicans have a damned revolution?

Because Revolutions are soooooooo 1700's.

One reason would be that if they did the U.S. would offer up the Marines to go in a put it down.
We have a lot of people into the whole " slave class " idea running America.

Elites that run the economy get all the profits and give very little to the working force.

It's a illusion created by fuckhead U.S. politicians to justify having no borders.

I do business in Mexico. A small business owner there faces the same issues as the do here in terms of being able to hire people.
The Mexican economy is not that bad.

Mexico has TONS of natural resources and should not be where they are politically and globally! 

The problem is the Cartels have all the power due to the fact the Colombian Cartels import directly into Mexico now and use Mexican smugglers to get their product into the USA.  Those same smugglers are the guys getting the illegals into the USA as well! The problem is Mexico doesnt enforce border security cause they have too many of their troops fighting drug lords scattered all over the country.  The government looks favorably to outsourcing Mexicos poor onto US soil. . . . Until Mexico stops looking at the USA as its "garbage dump of the poor" then nothing is going to change.  Or unless the USA grows some balls and passes REAL LEGISLATION that stops the flow and punishes employers.

Either way the situation is fucked and Mexico is a toilet! Its beautiful in some parts, but real fucking dangerous if you dont know where you are or who might be around to mess with you.  I have NO plans on visiting Mexico anytime soon. . . . rather go to Argentina or Chile or the Dominican Republic.

The problem is inherent in the very nature of a revolution.  Revolutions typically occur when a large enough portion of the population gets fed up with their government enough to revolt.  In the case of Mexico however, this is not possible.  Most of the people willing to join or create a potential revolution are coming to America.  When they reach a certain point and they get very angry at their government, they simply travel to America rather than risking their lives fighting a revolution.  America is acting as a safety valve for the Mexican government.  They know it, and that is one of the many reasons that the Mexican government criticizes the US when we try to enforce immigration.
