Hello,

I saw that you lot were running some Video Awards and thought I'd throw in my contribution.

The video was a join collaboration between myself, and the leader of (my clan) RogueSquad, Maddog.

We made it to celebrate the clan reaching its 2nd birthday in January this year.

I guess then, I'd like to submit this for the Best Picture award in March.

Here is the embedded video from Wipido

[wipido]http://www.wipido.com/video/319[/wipido]

The video was first rendered at 720p HD quality, and although there is quality loss with wipido, they have done a good job
A download for the 720p 400mb version is here

If ive done anything wrong with my submission dont be afraid to grill me so I get it right next time

Completely random video but it was entertaining to watch. I'll get it added to the award post shortly.

nice editing, the staged part was fun to watch, but the real game scenes were quite boring.

the night scenes on fushe were great, edited and picture quality (night+sky)

Yeah, I'm not quite sure what to say.  Nice editing.  Very random though.  Could have probably been a lot shorter.

Ahh, I've received karma, whatever that is.

Cheers for the feedback.

I understand the video is random yes, and a move away from the movies people are perhaps used to viewing.

I don't really have anything against the typical "frag" movies, but for my personal opinion I find them to be quite repetitive sometimes - this is what made me venture into more 3rd person "film" style movies I guess.

I did the staged bits of the movie, and while they are fun to edit and watch they can be quite a nightmare to organise and get people to do what you want them to do

The video came together in only 20 days - since it had to be ready, on DVDs and into the homes of RS members for the birthday which was 27th Jan. - Quite a rush for me as I'd just finished doing a Christmas movie, in which I attempted to script from start to finish. The script was about a massive US led invasion into a very heavily defended, MEC controlled Sharqi beach. It gets a bit out of hand at the end though, and then the nukes come in.

I shall endeavour to produce a video solely for the competition and submit it for April I think, and possibly script it.

Cheers
