True story: I went to a friends house, and he had a friend wanting to reformat his laptop because he was moving out, and said "I wanted to start off fresh." So, I let them borrow MY copy of XP Professional and let em reformat while I was there. For some reason it didn't take, so I let him borrow my disc and work on it later. BIG mistake. Now it is misplaced and I got my new laptop delivered via UPS two days ago and have no OS to install, with work that has to be done for school...
So, I downloaded a ISO copy of XP Professional w/ SP2. BUT I don't know how to burn it onto a cd and set it to make it bootable for my laptop.
I've been here: http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/
And looked through these: http://www.isobuster.com/tips.php?tips_page=7
As far as I've gathered, when I use Nero, there is a setting to make it bootable? But, from what I've read on the first link there is a lot more work then that, that is required.
Does anybody have experience with creating bootable discs like this?
This is no joke, I have a retail copy of XP (Well, I should say HAD) that I was gonna use for my new laptop, but of course now its misplaced!

Nature is a powerful force. Those who seek to subdue nature, never do so permanently.
