Are updates taking quiet awhile again or is it just me and the people i know
updates have been slow for some time... write ign expressing your dismay, perhaps they will allow us to update quicker then.
I just dont get why they slow down when i get REALLY close to staff sergeant and i cant tell how much close i am >

I knew it.... Whenever i told anybody they always told me i was crazy, but i knew it...
My advice: just keep up with the update monitor. You can find it on the bottom left hand side of your BF2S.com stats page. It's just above the upgrades bar under the label Misc. Stats. Personally, I like to play as much as possible before the update so that when it does update, there is a big change (although in BF2... nothing is a big change). Then take a 5 hour break (if you must) and keep going. Rinse and repeat.

Thats the thing, thats the one thats not updating ,and since that one isnt updating neither are the battlefield 2 stat websites
so when exactly was your last BFHQ update ?
Well i play on our server, i got my points then it updated, on the um 27, i think, then i played last night (28th) and it hasnt updated i played forever too from like 2:30 to 9:00 and got 1000 points atleast, and still no updated, but when i played on a different server, it updated almost right after the round was over...
Are the servers still reporting that they are ranked when they aren't? (Sorry, still trying to catch up...)
well we just ordered a ranked server, and it says that it is ranked, but it doesnt seem to be reporting the stats, my friend got promoted on it, too, but he couldnt keep it, any ideas?

I guess you need to contact EA about that. the longest time for my stats to update in BFHQ has been somewhat like 24 hours or so, maybe a bit longer. But I never keep track of the points I score anyway ( you know, like sitting there with a pencil and writing down every single kill/revive/ cap ). So maybe I've lost points here and there myself, but so what ? It's not like you get a bonus at the end of the year or s.th.

to me, it's much better to play BF2 for the fun of it.

Oh i found out why, i got the points the first day the ranked server was up, and i heard, it takes a little while before EA gets the server on its map, so it just "getting on its map"
I have had an epiphany: for 90% of the update questions... some form of patience is the answer. hmmmm, interesting you ADD people!

most of the questions that have to do with the update problem correct themself if the user waits enough time like more than a day.
