So in November my dog of 14 years died after I had to put her to sleep because of cancer. Honestly it sucked so bad that I swore I would never own another one....if you have lost a pet you know what I mean. But, after some time I broke down and got two 6 week old black lab puppies on Saturday from a guy I work with and now I have no idea what to name them. One is a boy, the other is a girl. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.
Looks just like my labrador minus the white paws. He is named Jet. As in Jet Black.
That's a great name, cause it has some meaning. That's kind of the idea i'm looking for.TheAussieReaper wrote:

Shadow? It somewhat pertains, however random names that have no meaning also can work as well, something strange and eccentric that no one else has named there pet, i don't know like, Salina, Isiah.
Chesty and Milkbone
peanutbutter and jelly

I'm another vote for bonnie and clyde - good idea.Nicholas Langdon wrote:

Good looking dogs you got there.
I think Jet would be a great name for the boy and Adora for the girl which means in Latin "Loved daughter" and I have always thought it was a nice name for a dog.

OK done a little research for you, the reason i did this is that i have a Doberman, and i named him Louis, now by pure chance the guy who invented or put the breed together was called Louis. so here is a great link for the history of your dog there are some names there to http://personal.pitnet.net/ldoll/labrad … istory.htm
Damn your dogs are cute. That's actually wierd that your little one that didn't make it was named Otis. That was one that I was thinking about when I was driving home with them for the boy.ReDevilJR wrote:

Long story Short: Red Collar (Otis) Died of some random heart failure during his sleep when he was one and a half years old..
Now we got a yellow Labrador (Sam) who's a step brother of Oscar (Blue Collar - To the left in above photograph)

Oscar is almost 5 years old. Sam just turned 3 years old.
Anyways, Congrats!! I'd suggest something basic, yet still an uncommon name like Rusty or Coco.
Name one David, and the other Mortari.
Revenge tbh.

What do you guys think about naming the boy Otis? Kinda wierd that I was considering it before this post and my dog looks just like the one RedevilJR lost. Not without his blessing of course.
