How much does Crysis rely on RAM? I've got a similar system as you, and if the RAM isn't all that important I think I'd get similar performance

It uses up >1GB in low res on low. So I can only imagine what that's like on high-end systems.

I wasnt entirely sure what you meant by old 8800GTS, Im guessing you meant the 320 and 640 versions, so I was wondering if I should be using High or Very High, right now in game I can run High at 1280x 1024 no problem except on ice levels, then I turn Textures to medium and everything works.
Second, I know how to extract files with WINRAR, had no problem with that, but I dont know how to copy the file to another location, Im assuming you mean do this through WINRAR, not sure how though.

Your guide says this: X:\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config
Im going to this as I assume it is the correct path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config

third its just in config, no subfolder
Thank you. You know off the top of you head which config would fit best? Otherwise Im just gonna try them out. Ok, I just copied the autoexec.cfg file to the folder, it is a Notepad file, is it alright that it has all that typing and directions and stuff in it from Xgj?bakinacake wrote:
