I'm trying to make a standalone server with BattleRecorder, I have the Standalone working fine, and it records the demo.
The thing is, whenever I leave the round and the demo goes to upload, it says 'Demo upload failed. Check 'rotate_demo_err.txt' for more info.
Any idea what I can do to get hold of the demo's, because they ARE being recorded, or anyone willing to lend me a URL to upload to?

umm

login to your server thru bf2cc and set up a server and url you can download it from.

Or.

If your hosting a server thru bf2, then Console/tilda, and "demo.recorddemo <Demoname>"

and "<Demoname>" is the name you want with out the Quotes or brackets.

Then if its #2 go to C:/Program Files/EA Games/BF2/mods/BF2/demos and there there,

Or My Documents/Battlefield 2/profiles/defualt/demos

or, go into the community tab in bf2 and view the demos from there.

It's not #1 because it is the standalone server you get through Start > All programs > EA games, so there is no BF2CC.
Will try the second option later because it might work, but i don't think you realise what I was asking.
I am after Battlerecorder footage off my Standalone server.

ya, you can set up a server thru bf2cc.

Download the server and client files from bf2cc.com

then download the 1.3 standalone server from ea

download the 1.41 server patch

start server thru bf2cc

then host battlerecorder files on a server or on to your HDD (thru rcon or bf2cc)

Its possible, ive done it
