Last night's was definitely my favorite. I probably have another favorite, I'm just forgetting.
The Constant was pretty damn good, definitely in the top 10.
Live Together Die alone kicked ass too. Desmonds episodes are always the best.
Spoiler (highlight to read):
Next week we finally get to see the Orchid, methinks. Dharma Station No. 6

Great episode.
I say the best one will be the last one when the show is canceled

The show's been signed on for 3 more seasons, this being the first of 3, and the 6th season will conclude the series.
Now, GTFO.

Desmond's future predicting came from the magnetic radiation from the hatch, i am sure about it, he was traveling forward and back in time. Then when he went off the island it was the same radiation that caused him to be effected.
edit, shit, maybe it was the electromagnetic radiation that was regulating the time difference. Then the chamber got flooded so it all went fucked. Then finally Locke screwed it over and it imploded, people inside didn't die because they changed time/space? Desmond went backwards in time didn't he?

Best? Noooononono. I disliked it. It gave away a bit, but it also pushed LOST farther into the realm of the supernatural... anything can be explained through faux-science. The "frozen in time" bit is utter bullcrap, and if you ask me, that's not an "answer" to anything. The initially intriguing aspect of the show revolved around the seeming conspiracy which was the reason for all the unexplained happenings. Now, they're straying from something plausible and Orwellian, and becoming Science-Fiction.
No doubt, I still love the show, and will still watch it, but the last episode was far from good, in my opinion, and I'd rather the crazy, time-warp stuff stuck to Desmond, as it has to this point.

you do realise its not a supernatural thing, as they will probably explain it in a future episode. however, Faraday's machine in his lab looked like some serious bs.djphetal wrote:

my question is: did machoski (the radio operator) die?
Dead like Charlie.
or is charlie REALLY DEAD? oooo weeeeee ehhhhhh oooo
Just watched the last episode. This show has now definetly reached a completely new level of WTF
It was one of my favorites, if not the favorite.
Oh come on, the unstuck in time thing is totally a reference to Slaughterhouse Five. And I just loved that.psH wrote:

The Lost haters really are showing how far they've shoved their heads up their asses.
Lost haters = 1/2 people who can't understand the show, 1/2 people who saw 3 episodes mid season and decided that they would tell everyone else their short sided ass backwards opinion, that the show sucks.
because desmond is linked to PennypsH wrote:

Penny is linked to the outside world
Penny wants to find desmond and has the lewt to do so.
Shows with hope of rescue are always filled with tension, and unveiling of clues
Therefore
Penny = Rescue
Rescue = Unveiling Of secrets
Unveiling of secrets/connections = win
You know, I actually realized that when I watched the episode again with my brother yesterday.haffeysucks wrote:

Funny that you mention that...
My acceptance for this episode as grown slightly.
Did you guys notice that Desmonds friend while training at the camp was also named "Billy"?djphetal wrote:

Lost has started getting into the gritty bits, where some people are like 'wtf?' and others are like 'yeah, that's feasable'
Me? It made me creme fresh.

I was loving it till them bastards at SKY thried to rinse sir Richard Branson of his cash. Scumbag bastards, because Mr Branson takes over Telewest( changed name to VirginMedia) SKY decides to up their costs a little. Something like a million extra for the sky channels. So he did right and stuck to his guns and basically told them to fuck off. Good lad. But now I have no SKY so am a little disappointed. Never mind, I will wait until my mate gets the rest on the knock off dvds! Internet piracy FTW!!!!
Twas pretty damn good tbh.
