My boss will give me a bonus next week, so im thinking to upgrade my pc. Not much, i just need to change my processor, but i will need new motherboard too. heres my current setup:
Mobo: A8R-MVP
CPU: AMD64 3500+ 939
RAM: DDR2 PC2-5400
Video: PCI-E
I want a dual-core, still not sure if i should stick with AMD or switch to Intel. They look pretty much the same to me. I'd like to stay between the 2.5GHz - 2.9GHz range while 3.0GHz and more is useless for me. I dont want to spend more than 300$US one the mobo/cpu combo.
What should i get?
