The EU-voices are already in the common_client.zip if you installed the 1.2 patch. It's english with french and german accents.

You find it in X:\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Common_client.zip and then click on sound/EU.

They sound mostly horrible.

I was all for EF in the beginning, whats 10 dollars anyways? But with

1. This crappy patch

2. Even lower frame rates

3. EF only supportting up to 32 players

4. The noobified handweapons

I don't think i'll get it.

A full grown red kangaroo is probably about 6ft - 6ft2in when standing up right.

Find a mate (pal, buddy, whatever) who is about that height and jump on his back... with a pack and something approximating a gun.

Personally, I like to instruct a squad of drop bears to ambush the enemy when they're passing under tree.

Oh, and getting back on topic, I'll definitely be buying EF. An optimistic view would that EA reinvent themselves with every patch, because they change so much on each patch. That almost like getting a new game every six months or so.

I still havent come across the red/blue bug that is apparently rampant.. however, I'm a big fan of friendlies constantly having their names above them. There was always a moment of uncertainty pre1.2 when you had to wait for the red/blue to come up, especially when the enemy had just come around the corner, or was lying prone, or was in the distance.

I do like the idea of the smaller add-ons. Quicker development, and new feature here and there, a new map. All low risk stuff and a swift deploy method. Yep, normally any other TPS would just have a community pack of new maps for free, but this global ranking system requires that maps are kept official to reduce exploits carefully placed by map designers. I think we know how far some players will go to get their stats up. Making your own map and getting in the official rotation would just be too much of a temptation. If it wasnt for the ranking system, badges, ribbons and what not, I'd still be playing CS or UT2004. (Maybe Q4, but I dont think my machine would be quite fast enough.... perhaps I should give it ago sometime).
