My new stuffs will be here wednesday:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+
GFX: 768mb NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTX
HDD: RAID 0 - 500GB (2 x 250GB) 3Gb/s 7,200 rpm w/ 2 x 8mb cache
RAM: 2GB DDR2 (PC2 6400) SDRAM @ 800MHz (1024mb x 2) (not sure of brand yet)
Audio: High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio (dunno brand of this yet either)
MotherBoard: NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI Motherboard
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 20.1" 5ms LCD

Des.Kmal = 9/10, I think 1 more Gig of RAM would put you over the top. That's the CPU I wanted. (btw did you ever get your heatsink prob figured out?)

Impressive rig Raptor.

Mine is a standard ACER pc.
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3700+
GFX: ATI X1300HM (128mb, till 512 mb shared)
HDD: 250 GB SATA
Audio: uhm.. 5.1 Creative Speakerset
RAM: 1GB...
MotherBoard:
What settings u play BF2 on: Low, it makes the game run smoothe, and loading times go by fast. Gameplay above graphics!

It's a nice improvement, my last pc was utter crap.

8/10 -But what do I know

Dell XPS 700

CPU: Pentium D CPU 3.00GHz
GFX: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX (dual 512) : AGEIA physX AG1011 Physics Processor
HDD: 250 Gig @ don't remember
Audio: Creative SB X-Fi
RAM: 4 GB
Motherboard: Whaterver it came with
Chassis: XPS Tower (not red though -I got a black one w/ alumium case)

Internet connection -Comcast cable (8 gig).  However on a good day going to speakeasy.com I'll pull a 15-13 (gig) speed.

I run everything in the game cranked up, and there is still more juice left in the graphics cards to give.
I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something.  - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

Thread revive, but I dont give a shit because either way ill get whined at.

Ive never really cared what I think and what others think about my comp, but w/e I felt like showing off my leetsaucish computer.

Yeah, to poster above me, I would love to have that comp.  Kills mine.... 9/10

And here is the relatively new comp that I have, it was a stock Gateway and everything was pretty nice for being 700-800 dollars.  Only thing that I put into it was the Graphics card

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200 -2.21GHz
Gfx: NVIDIA GeForce 6600
HDD: 250 GB Sata II
Audio: Realtek HD
Ram: 2.048 GB DDR2
Motherboard: What the comp came with, doesnt matter...

I used to play medium with geometries and textures on high with view distance scale at 100.

But now I like a higher FPS and play with all settings that dont help you play (like lighting) on low, with geometries on high, textures on medium, landscapes on medium and view distance at 100.

i love this thread, no one rated my rig on the 2nd page, and since then, i got my new one.

But first, Eagles, 8/10, just cause that 6600 is holding u back a bit.

Mine:
in my sig-

play bf2 on all high, never under 60 fps, sometimes go up to 250 with unlocked fps.

looks like a good system, try putting your textures on low.  BF2 wastes RAM like no other game.

CPU      C2D E6600
mobo    Asus P5B
GPU      Evga 8800gts
HDD     WD Caviar 250
Audio    X-Fi Xtreme Music
RAM      2X512mb Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 - soon remedied
PSU      Thermaltake Toughpower 700w

Settings?  Everthing maxed w/16xAA forced.  runs ~160fps when I unlock it.

Hai! 8.5/10

Got a new pc since my last entry.

CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 Ghz;
GFX: Asus Geforce 8800GTX, 768MB, 575mhz
HDD: 2x500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 , Raid 0
Audio: Onboard.
RAM: 2x2gb Geil DDR2 800mhz
MotherBoard: Asus P5W-DH Deluxe

Battlefield 2 runs completely flawless (Max settings, 1280x1024, 8xAA, 100 fps minimum). The only game that gives my rig a hard time is Crysis (demo) which doesn't run smooth on maxed out setings.
