Omg... that is huge disappointment to me. Not really a big surprise since the only difference is slightly higher clockspeeds compared to GTS. Not worth upgrading from 8800GTX for that 5% more performance... And if the price will be anywhere near the estimated $400, that is just not worth it.

because G92 GTS ~ 8800GTX it doesn't matter. and it is +$100 more compared to GTS.

GTX is about 300€ now. GT selling at 199€ and GTS at 269€. the new GTX is estimated to be in >350€ price range.

The 9 series is rushed. They should make a new fucking core, and call this one 8800GTX G92. Same with the 9600; 8600 rev 2.

nVidia is letting people down with the 9 series. Hard.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
