Problems with Photoshop cs3

I'm not sure where else to post this so I guess it's here. I've been having a problem with Photoshop CS3 for a few weeks now. I'll be making a picture or something of that nature. The problem I'm having is that when I go to save it, the window that should appear shows up for a split second & disappears. Then When I try to save again or do something else, the whole program freezes & I have to press CONTROL ALT TAB to end the process. Does anyone know what's causing this & maybe how I can fix it?

I've uninstalled twice & the samer thing happens. Adobe support won't help me as I had purchased my copy from Ebay & not Adobe.

Sounds very strange indeed, can't think what could cause it tbh, you tried updating it see if that helps? (it probably wont).

I'm assuming you haven't installed any extra file extentions for PS, if you have take them out.

9 times out of 10 that cures most problems for me. Also works in Illustrator and Indesign.

I've tried reinstalling it & not it wont reinstall saying that I cant use the serial number.

I don't know if it was a pirate copy. It was unopened & has all manuals with it.

If the serial has been blocked then it's probably been resold to other people, moral of the story, never buy software on eBay, specially not Adobe or Microsoft stuff.

Your best bet is go illegal and get a keygen.

sounds like your copy is legal enough if it had all manuals and whatnot. what are your system specs?

Strange thing is that I reinstalled Adobe Photoshop Elements & that works fine, but the Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended is still a no go.

I still can't reinstall CS3 as the serial number isnt working.
