I would be working on the R700, but I gotta get this one done first..

Also, I'm thinking of making a tutorial on how to make a gun in Maya, so give me some feedback on that too.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

96k? wow thats tons of polys. Do you make these to go in games? coz unfortunately as nice as it looks thats far more polys that most games allow for guns.

Have to say all your guns are very impressive. I tried to get into modelling in maya but just found it took too much time.

Thanks guys.

It's 59k though, not 96k. But as Ddenholm said, I still have to reduce that number. If I delete edges to reduce it, and I notice something that's wrong with the smoothing, I'll have to redo the whole object, because un-smoothing and deleted edges don't like each other.
