If a mod deletes my post, am I supposed to be notified?  It doesn't make much sense to not let someone know why their post was deleted, else how can they know what they did wrong?

(I searched, but didn't find anything obvious that answers this question)

Most likely if your post was deleted and you were not notified via "AWM"., it means the mod was trying to be nice to you. Most of the time we comment in the thread in a generalization as to not single you out and make you feel targeted. I hope that makes sense. All of the site's rules are posted very clearly here.
