I have heard that Call of duty 5 is going to be released this year, and my question is if it's worth the money buying Call of duty 4.

Yes! Call of duty 4 is a great game. And tbh, if it really is true that CoD5 is in the making, it will most likely be postponed a few months anyway. So you'll probably have to wait at least a year, probably 1½. So buy CoD4 and enjoy it. besides, people still kept playing BF2 eventhough 2142 came out...
and based on some stuff I've heard about the franchise, the next game (whenever that will be... I haven't heard these rumors about a release date) will be set in WW2, like the older CoD games. So, which setting do you like more?

well then it sounds like CoD4 would be a good purchase. Itt'l be played for a few years to come. I don't see why it couldn't have the longevity of CoD2... they're basically the same game with different settings... and I imagine that if a new, presumably superior WW2 game comes out, then CoD2 will phase out slightly, while CoD4 will still be very widely played.Rewaa wrote:

Activision split COD between two different game developers. IW gets the even numbered releases and some other company gets the odd numbered ones. I wasn't impressed with what I saw in COD3, so I'll be sticking to the evens in the future.Ganko_06 wrote:
