Not that impressive the first time you see it, increasingly impressive with each additional viewing. How’d Dwight Howard get that high? He’s Superman, baby — and also 6′11. Is this dunk actually a miscalculation, though? It looks like he was going for a Jordanesque takeoff near the free throw line for a conventional dunk, then realized he wasn’t going to make it to the hoop and threw (literally) caution to the wind.

The freakiest part? This might not have been the sweetest dunk of the contest. Good Lord.

Of course we all remember that.. it's trajectory though. This guy went up.. whereas Jordan went more horizontal. (Jordan ran the length of the court)
