Bench: 245
Squat: 250
Curl:110
Clean: Don't do cause my form falls to crap and it just promotes injury for me
Mile Time : 7min (I run 26.2m at a time, not a speed guy, just distance)

Sports played: Football, Rugby, Boxing, Baseball, and a collection of other activities I don't really consider sport (snowboarding, mountain biking = entertainment)

We should run another topic to discuss injurys and surgeries, that would take me a while to cover but it would be fun.  At least for me, when I am broken, I end up playing video games, as soon as I'm healed my computer barely  is anything more then a really expensive e-mail checker.

Bench: 235
Squat: 385
Clean: 170
Curl: 2 hands: 115, 1 hand: 55
40 time. 4.93
mile time. 6:58 fuck miles.......
and what sports u play/played. football until my freshman year.

So, lets hear it.
I don't go to the gym as my flatmates and I have loads of equipment at home. Don't know all the weightlifting lingo but here goes...

I bench press 45Kg* (roughly 100 US pounds) - I do 5 sets of 10 reps per workout.

I curl 15Kg on each arm (roughly 35 US pounds) - usually 90 alternating curls then about 170 reps using different muscle groups per workout (usually with breaks every 40 or 50 reps).

Push-ups using push up bars - usually 70 consecutive push ups at the end of a workout.

Pilates stomach exercises & sit-ups - usually about 290 per workout with breaks after each set of 80.

I do shadow-boxing with ankle and wrist weights - a few 3 minute rounds towards the end of my workout.

I've just started jogging again to so I'm starting to get my stamina back... haven't timed myself though.

*That's all the available weight I have in the house at the moment so I can't move up until I buy more. I do this workout, or a variation of it, every 2 or 3 days.

Sports: kickboxing, boxing, karate and soccer (goalkeeper).

Dude!!! 900lb. squat?  How much do you weigh? I'm a drug-free powerlifter at 110kg/242lb weight class and the USA Open class records are lower than that.  You must have tree trunk legs!! You ever think of competing?  You'd have to work on your bench a bit but I think your squat would hang with some of the best in the sport. Kudos!

For the record...best in competition

Bench: 415
Squat: 705

Curl: I dunno...sometimes do sets of 15 with 125.
40 time - Way too old. In HS, 4.8
Football, basketball and baseball until powerlifting in college.  I will soon be old enough to compete in the Master's Division...crap!

I say go for it! At that weight we drop you to 90kg/198lb for competition and you'll do VERY well!  Again, kudos man and here's the +1 for joining the 400 club ;-)

[edit] And reference strongman...I'm just to small.  Most those guys (even guys under or at around 6') weigh 275 and up. At 240, I'd be a shrimpboat. [/edit]

basicallly my legs are huge, id say about 60-70% of my body wheight resides tehre from soccer and whatnot, so i sprint super fast, but i get slowed down by it in anything longer than a mile.

i really have to get off the computer and hit the gym

I bench around a 100, curls around 30 ,never done clean or squats. My mile is probably around 7, 8 min.
just wondering, how often do you guys bench (how many reps, how many sets a day, etc) ?

by the end of the set are you pretty much barely lifting the bar?
Because often i have a hard time choosing a weight so that i get tired after 10 reps. For me, it's either do 10 reps and that's it, or a few sets of 5 or 6 reps

if I'm not then I toss on some more weight, that very last rep I want to know I gave it everything I got bc if I didn't then whats the point
