A friend of mine and I created a new map of Karkand West, for competition. It works fine on client side, but when we try uploading it to our server;the server does not recognize it as a mod of BF2.

Any ideas guys?

I can't download the file to check because the link is broken

If you've only created a map, then the map folder should....
  • Contain a server.zip
  • Contain an Info folder
  • Be named exactly the same as the .desc file in the Info folder (if this is different, change the map folder name- not the .desc name)


the map folder should be added to the directory /mods/bf2/levels/, and the map won't shown up as a new mod- it will show up as an extra map under the bf2 mod.
