People, i have made a friend an account a few days sgo, and, been as someone hacked my main account i went on his on Sharqi, and the total servers shown up was 1000+, and on SF the other day, it was 251 servers.

When i bothered to get my GeneralArnott password back, i logged on to a round of Sharqi, and the total servers went down to 500+, and SF was back to 60 as usual.

Why is this?

The time of day that I log on often dictates how many servers are up and running.  Typically I see between 400-1000 at various times of the day, and I have some of the filters checked.

Maybe you didn't have internet filters set on your friends account like you had on yours.

No, this was 5 mins after i logged off,


And no, the filters are exactly the same.

The punkbuster filter has a separate checkbox below.
Maybe that's the cause for the discrepancy.

Obviously these will make a difference...especially 'populated' and 'not full'...
