A development on my behalf which can only be good in the long run, was chattin to someone on MSN, n the topic of the girl I like(d) came up, n that she's goin travelling, n my first though was just "Ah well, I'm not too bothered"

Mate you have only one life make the most of it - tell this girl how you feel then back right off tell her that when she is ready she should come and see you. Don't pressure her or go over the top simply explain to her that you really like her and hope that at some time you can try and have a relationship together.
