NOOOOO SHIT!!!  I know I'm on the wrong thread, but this patch goes a long way toward fixing some of the bigger problems.  Pilot only players.....buy a damn flight sim already.  Get off your punk asses and find a rifle like a real Marine.  Bunny hopping, dolphin diving chumps....try using TACTICS.  If you're unfamiliar, try looking up the word in a dictionary, then check out COVER and CONCEALMENT. 

Attention retards, a helo is not supposed to be able to take a round from a tank's main gun and just keep on flying.  I know all you helo whores out there would shit your pants if a tank could take a direct hit from your beloved TV guided rockets and just drive away.

I dont like the patches ranks the old ones used to be unique oyu had earn the rank i know 2nd ltnt was 150000 pints difference but now its to easy to rank up , after i installed the patch i went in and there were so many ranks every where I used to berely see 2nd ltnt now they are all over the show

Well said again.. I am pleased the plane and helo whores are not going to be alive much anymore.. Yes they can fly a plane and bomb us infantry n stuff.. But their little precious stats are going to be dropping at an alarming rate.

I have no complaints.. I have loved it since it was version 1.0 and i still love it now.. For you lot who still complain about something or other are the people who need to get more of a life !!

well...i personally think that the patch has made Ground Versus Air a little more balanced .... now we have a bigger chance to kill the prick that are flying and think they can end the round with a 50 kill 3 death ,....nope now they have to use more brains that firepower to do that...and thats the problem what has been easy has been made dificult. makes the game more challeging that before i havent tried the patch but i,m going to download when i have my free time to play again

Oh, and lastly.  Your smug comments that the other planes should be trying to shoot you down?  Well, our pilots are doing the same thing you are.  Why don't you spend your time trying to shoot THEM down instead of acting holier than thou?

It's okay.  I sucked at flying a  jet anyway.  But I will miss flying the blackhawk.  I suppose I just have to learn to get better.  Like all of you can and will, if you stop moaning and actually work at it.

Why are people talking about realism??
If the game was about realism all the soldiers has to die when they get hit with a .50 or at least can't walk again because they are missing a leg.
And when they are dead they can't spawn anymore.

Get stealthbombers in the game with 99% accuracy while flying high above the clouds.

This game isn't about realism,, it's about fun and gameplay.
I'm not going to say anything about the AA yet because I haven't been in a jet.
I have shot down a jet yesterday and it was too easy.(Aim in his direction and click away..).

Will get back on this when I have been in a jet.
(Maybe BF1942 flighttactics will work).

Attack heli's are flying tanks. AA improvement is more than welcomed. Hit point reduction aswell is too much. Its about balance.
I disagree, they have armour but not SO much armor. The heli before the patch could take to tank shells and fly away and repair, it also took several hits of the AT missile, which is rather unbalanced in my opinion.

I think AT missles totally suck. u can shoot a tank/helo or anything 4 times and u basically tickle it. thats y i don't play the AT kit very much.

in my opinion, i think that they destroyed helo's, not so much jets, but those are crap too now. dont even bother getting in a blackhawk, they are waaaaay too slow to dodge anything, and the attack choppers aren't much better off. im a chopper pilot, for all you ground pounders out there: hate me. i have a couple hundred hours in there, but i doubt ill get much more time now. i was getting shot out of the sky left and right last night. my problem is that all the crybabies who dont know how to shoot down a chopper and that bitched and moaned got their way.

before 1.2 it was easy to shoot down a chopper, you just had to know how. 50 cals were very effective. knowing HOW to use a stinger helped too. now it's all just point and click if you're on the ground to take down a chopper, no skill needed. to be honest about the whole thing, im pissed. ground pounders: you can claim victory finally that there will be no more *raping* from the sky, but they took away what i was best at. so to you i say i hope to god on the next patch they make all tanks destroyable with a single pistol round and all other bullets heat seeking and lockable..... that will give you a feeling for what has just happened to all of us chopper pilots that took the time to get good at what we do.

.50's are very effective. Being able to judge an AT missile shot against an heli takes some skill but I'm pretty good at it. Its early days for me as I only played the new patch last night and perhaps in a couple of weeks I will have learnt new attack heli tactics. I feel that EA will proberly have to back track some of the air vehicle degrades. AA improvement was all that was needed. Maybe reduce the TV's and missiles aswell. Leave the hit points alone ffs. EA has been listening to noobs and whiners. Skilled players understand the game better. Listen to us.

Basically, the Spec Ops kit is a useless kit now.  At one time you could toss c4 in the middle of the road (while hiding behind a wall) waiting for a tank or APC to roll by now you have to run out in the street and place it there.  I would also get behind a fence and toss c4 when a tank stopped to spawn rape on karkand.  Now i have to 'engage' him like a suicide bomber.  Guess who wins now.

I'm not the whiner you are, I like the new patch. If a heli pilot is good you can't hit him with an AT very often if he suck and goes low it's easy.  If n00b heli pilots now actually dies from flying lik a kamikaze pilot in front of tanks and AT they deserve to die. If a tank drives in front of a heli he deserves to die. The problem is that the heli pilots have had it so easy too long. They're not used to get killed, now they actually cant have their 30/2 kill death ratio anylonger, and now they whine like hell. See if i bother.

Another thing is the requirement for all expert vehicles for a rank... you can't stay in a jet or heli long enought now to get expert.

LOL, you have very high thoughts about yourself. Until now a n00b could survive in a heli for almost a round, the n00bs were the heli fraggers. They had NOTHING to worry about, not they get killed. About time!

The fact that they just used the run animation for when jumping really makes it look rushed.
What im dissapointed at is that the two new unlocks didnt get added to special forces, which is pretty unfair for the two classes.

Ok sorry. I get it now. You don't like experienced heli pilots. Noob pilots are ok as you can shoot them down more easily. lol
Heli pilots didn't have it easy. They have to watch out for enemy planes, tanks, jeeps, attack heli's, AT, AA. And hey, I'm not whining. I'm giving an informed view from being an all round player. I fight on the ground and in the air and hence understand about the balance needed in the game. I say again, AA did and has been vastly improved. Yeah! Now we can shoot down jets and heli's. Messing with air vehicles wasn't really needed. Its a two fold reduction for airpower. EA might aswell lower the tank amour. I've got skills. Expert AT. Shot down loads of heli's with AT and .50's. Noob pilots don't last half the round unless the other teams pilots are noobs too.

Heli pilots had it easy, just watch their avarage score. Pilots almost never died. They didnt have to care for  tank, AT or AA thats pure bull. Planes and other helis were the threats (and cars if they were two together).

The tank armour is a good balance against infantery the same with APC's. Which you also can tell from watching their avarage K/D ratio in a game. You just cant stand that your favorite vehicle now has opponents.
