Now that patch is out...euro force release date?

Ok, we've all (or most of us) have seen the new patch. Some hate it, some love it (I love the fact that I have to manuever a lot more carefully now to avoid AA missiles), but considering that this patch was a preparation for Euro Force...when is it coming?

I would really like to know any updates towards Euro Force, because I want my famas dammit!

Any updates would be nice.

Yeah I'm pretty sure we can, that's why I'm asking when it's going to come out

It's not that I want to play Euro Force, it's the fact that I want my *&(#&%$(*#$ FAMAS UNLOCK!!

EA said they werent going to have EF Unlocks in Vanilla BF2 in an interview i read on totalbf2. If i wasnt doin homework right now i'd dig up the link. The P90 and AWP were given as SF unlocks as teasers for EF apparently.

I think the FAMAS is only available to the EU Forces. Im not so sure its going to be another global unlock, but it would be cool if it was. Maybe the EU Forces unlocks should be the second tier unlocks for SF. At any rate, Euro Force should be coming out any time now, we are getting to the end of February after all.

I've been reading some totalbf2 threads, and people constantly keep claiming that once Euro Force is bought, the guns are available as unlocks.

Any official word on this?

So you're saying even after you buy Euro Force, the new guns (more so the Famas) will not be a new unlock for regular Battlefield 2?

Those guns (The FAMAS ect...) will only be available to the EU. They wont be global unlocks. you wont be able to use them on Karkand, Sharqi, and all of the other regular maps.

Why do people think that Euro Force is an expansion, its a booster. Its not going to be Different from vanilla BF2, its IS vanilla BF2. If you want chocolate, you gotta go play SF.

The guns aren't going to be unlocks in BF2, because they already ARE in BF2. Whats the point in having it made an unlock? So that when you can Play Euro Forces, suddenly you decide your tired of using the FAMAS, so you switch to your UNLOCK FAMAS? HOW DOES THAT WORK?

Thank the lord someone actually get's it. EF will be part of the core BF2 (Vanilla) so just like China, MEC and US have their own weapons, So will Euorpean union. It's just that the anti tankl and sniper unlocks will bring it level and every class will have 2 unlocks.

Oh ok, thanks for clarifying, I thought it was going to be something like Special Forces, where you could play different maps, but also be able to have the unlocks in regular Battlefield 2.
