True for me. I don't wake up until 1 or 2 pm. Or if I have something to do maybe 10 or 11am.
When I had to get up early, I was up as soon as the alarm went off. Very often I was awake about 15 seconds before it went off. But now I work from 17h to 2h, so I go to bed at around 4-5am, and get up around noon, do all the housework during the afternoon, or go pick up some grocery, and then go to work.
cuz I do not go to sleep on worknights till around 5 or 6am. /mathsMetal-Eater-GR wrote:

wake up 5 minutes later,
fall asleep 10 seconds later
Get dragged ot of bed by annoyed parent
fall asleep in cereal
Is finally woken up by the cold milk.

I used to not piss the night before. When I woke up I'm just about ready to explode and had to get out of bed.
Lately however, I've broken free of my insomnia and I've been going to bed really early (trying to avoid falling into my old, horrible sleep pattern) and been waking up 2-3 hours before I need to get up, giving me plenty of time to lay around and think about stuff.

I have two alarm clocks, one by my bed and the other across the room. The one across the room rings 5 minutes after the other, so I am in a light daze and have to walk across and turn it off.
Same, but the snooze alarm pushing goes on indefinitely if Im tired enoughDrakef wrote:
By the third time the alarm rings from repeated 'snoozes', I can't get back to a restful sleep and I start to wake up.
That, or put the alarm clock across the room. However, I'm so vindictive that I will go shut it off and go back to sleep regardless of important appointments of the day just to prove a point to the alarm clock.
My mother wakes me up but recently with school now Ive been getting up at 6:50 for an 8:30 school start.
Im just eager to perv at all of the new hot chicks at school now. :\

noice
i usually get up at 5:50, shower, smoke a cigarette and then i'm off to work. works most of the time
I think about the pile of bills that need paying and I am out of bed like a shot. I don't need an alarm. I wake up at the same time every day.Jackabo wrote:
I have to get up at 7am on weekdays. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't then have to walk 20 mins to the train station and then get on a packed stuffy train and then walk another 20 mins to school.
I usually use this technique for getting up. I keep my eyes wide open for about 10 seconds to prevent falling back to sleep and then spring up out of bed. I usually have a headache after doing this.
How do you guys get out of bed?
My cat wakes me up at exactly 6:30 every morning if I don't close my door.
My girlfriend calls me and talks to me until I am awake. Best alarm ever.
Only problem is it kinda gets tuned out after a while... heh.Adams_BJ wrote:

Roll over, and then eventually sit up and take ages to stand up. If on a weekend or day off, morning is a mystery to me lol.

I used to be really good at getting up. No dicking around, just get up...
Now it's really hard, I have to force myself to get out of bed. Even that doesn't work sometimes lmao.

Alarm goes off:
I turn it off
I curse that today is another shitty day
I do sit ups and push ups

You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.
Wow that was a tight ass sleep I had last night. I woke up at 2 AM and 5 AM though but I was ready to get moving at both those times, yet when I really needed to get up I just thought that I can't wait to go to sleep again. It's gonna rock!
Push-ups, sit-ups, & S3X (*maybe)

I made myself a checklist of all the things I have to do each day at home and at work, including shit like "take baby aspirin (to keep from having a heart attack)" and "50 pushups" and "30 minutes on elliptical" and if I don't do those things and check those boxes off I feel like a douche, so when my alarm goes off at 6 a.m. I roll out of bed more out of guilt than anything else. I don't want to have to face myself if I don't do the things I know I should. Self-created pressure is a hell of a motivator.
On M/W/F I get up at 6:00 AM by an alarm clock. On T/Th I get up whenever I do. I don't have class on Tues and at 5:30pm in Thurs.
1. Wake up, eyes open, hand on crack pipe.
2. Morning speedball.
3. Down 2 Litre's of Milk and raw coffee beans.
4. Work.
