I have updated punkbuster using pbsetup and it didn't fix the problem. I then updated punkbuster manually and it didn't work either !!! I wonder if its my speed cause i'm getting shaped at the moment?? Can anyone help me ????????? I need to play !!!!

Yes i do... I have updated punkbuster using pbsetup and attempting manually but no joy.

Are you capped? (used up your d/l quota, if you have one)


Edit: After reading the full post, its says your shaped, so bang theres your problem.

Yeah my limit is 12gigs then they shape me.. Could this be why punkbuster keeps kicking me cause my connection speed has changed??

Imo "shaping" shouldnt matter, thats only for torrent type downloads. What type of router are you using? Also retry this..

1. Manually update your punkbuster using pbsetup.exe (just to be safe)

2. Download pbsvc.exe from PB.

3. Run it, select the uninstall option.

4. Run it again, select the install option.

5. Reboot if you want, just in case. I didn't and it worked fine for me.
