No wake servers with a low enough ping have FF off, damnit.

I'll try finding another server with FF off that runs a few airmaps. It would be epic to blast up and drop C4 on the jet.

Safr, I am so annoyed. I'm so so so annoyed.

I managed to do what I'm sure you would have loved, driving a vehicle into a jet whilst it's in full flight. I got it on fraps, however it looks so bad you can't even see the jet. However, if you look up in the top left you'll see smokey get the kill on the jet, he was the last person to hit the jet before it blew up and he got the kill, however it's an 100% genuine, totally 100% unplanned ramming into a jet with a FAV.

I'll put the fraps onto youtube, I really doubt you'll be able to see anything though.

And ftr, the server doesn't run BR.

What are the chances of me being in a fav, driving off the damaged bridge just at the moment an F15 is flying through that spot?

That was the only time I've ever driven off the damaged bit, I missed the spot where I was supposed to fly off to get the chopper.

Nice Try!...  FAV off a bridge into a jet is probably next to impossible unless your staging it.
I Do have a staged demo of a FAV off a bridge into a jet flying under the bridge.
Took us about 5-6 timed trys to get it right.

What I do believe IS possible without staging is C4ing yourself OR a FAV up into the path
of a strafing jet.   We've actually succeeded in blowing up a dune buggy into a jet,
but the jet knew what was going on, and slowed way down, making it too easy... so I couldn't use it.
I have now succeeded several times in blowing myself up into the path of the jet, and detonating
a c4 packet just as the jet passed or hit me.  I've been DPVed by the strafing jet several times,
and a couple of times I actually caused enough damage to redline the jet.

Make sure your playing on a server with FF off, and BR running.
=COP= is a good place for this  (24/7 Oman)
Set down 4 C4 packets, saving the last one for the air burst.
As soon as you see the jet on a direct strafing run, and close enough to fire at you,
detonate, throw, and detonate again.
If you succeed, make sure you download the demo as soon as the round is over.

The only issue with that is the server ping, I myself live in Australia and I don't know of any Australian server that has FF off, out of the 30~ or so usually populated ones.

I will try my best to find one that will give me a playable condition, it's just finding the right place where I can come close enough to a jet that's silly enough to come that low down.

Any suggestions?

I've been trying to bait them from a stinger position or between grounded jets when they are raping.
If you have 2 people, you could bait them from a stationary dunebuggy with one in vehicle and one
far enough away to spring the trap.

I've decided to give up on this, and use the music I was planning for it as my 4th and probably
final Tank vs Aircraft video.

There is another song I have I could use for this concept that would work really well,
but its pretty low on the priority list right now.
